Les distorsions cognitives prédisent-elles le stress perçu et la résilience dans une population non-clinique ?
Résumé
Les distorsions cognitives sont rarement mentionnées dans la littérature sans que l’on parle également de la dépression. Le but de cette recherche menée sur une population non- clinique est d’investiguer le lien entre les distorsions cognitives et le niveau de stress ressenti au quotidien, puis dans la même population, entre les distorsions cognitives et les stratégies derésilience. Afin d’explorer ces liens, 160 participant-e-s ont rempli un questionnaire en ligne contenant trois questionnaires. Le premier concernait les distorsions cognitives (CDS, Covin et al., 2011), le second le stress perçu (PSS, Cohen et al., 1983) et le dernier les stratégies de résilience (CD-RISC 10, Campbell-Sills & Stein, 2007). Une analyse de régression linéaire a été effectuée afin de déterminer des rapports de prédiction. Une version alternative de l’échelle de stress perçu a été utilisée, compromettant ainsi la première partie de l’analyse, rendant impossible d’affirmer que les distorsions cognitives prédisent un stress perçu élevé, bien que l’analyse confirme une prédiction positive très significative. Cependant, les distorsions cognitives prédisent très significativement et négativement les stratégies de résilience dans l’activité professionnelle. En conclusion, nous pouvons imaginer que la présence de distorsions cognitives peut également impacter une population non-clinique. Il serait intéressant d’agir sur ces erreurs de la pensée, afin d’en diminuer les conséquences. Une piste intéressante pourrait être celle de la psychoéducation.
