The second volume of Cortica is a compilation of articles, perspectives and opinions on mental and social health. From an editorial on the applications of mindfulness to an article on involuntary hospitalizations in psychiatry, Cortica II takes us through a wonderful trip across the ups and downs of mental health. This volume initiates the first episode of eight episodes on the brain and its PRESENCE. The first episode will lay down the building blocks of our Predisposition to BE. Other articles will tease our curiosity and critical thinking regarding the reasons to be or not to be vaccinated among health care workers ; mediation and conflict resolution ; adult ADHD from a clinical perspective; the association between gray matter and white matter phenotypes in schizophrenia patients and positive and negative symptoms using voxel-based morphometry ; and what about the hypothesis of fronto-temporal regional atrophy in schizophrenia ? Cortica II is a stimulating journey across the brain !
